As the final project for my Props Making Essentials Course at Pinewood Studios I Designed, Sculpted, Molded, Cast and Painted this Original Prop.

Drawing inspiration from Ancient Egyptian Symbols and carved amethyst sculptures, I designed an original prop to evoke the story of a powerful and mysterious lost civilization.

To bring this concept to life I sculpted the piece in clay, created a silicone mold and produced a two-part resin cast to obtain a transparent eye and matte tablet. I then painted and aged the prop, and finally installed an LED powered by a coin cell battery to give the eye the unearthly glow I had envisioned.
